Damnit thats a sunday. Oh well, im about 95% i can be there. Dynamo may even show up to work on his guns?
Since teams groups are limited to 4 per team, unless more of us come, we split up to smaller groups among ourselves (2-3 per team), or if teams are stacked up for Blue team, we can go opfor?
I have no headsets for them. Just the squack boxes. I have one throat mic, but i'm using it. They are one pin. If you have your own head set, I see no harm in bringing it to test it's compatibility with my radios. You could even check it's compatibility online if you like. They're not the greatest radios in the world, but they should do the trick for the game.
I'm not too sure what the battery packs in the two are like so i'll bring 3 extra AA batteries for them for you to keep on your person should the radio fail. You can bring batteries too if you like. If you look at your touch tone phone and look for 1RPC on the keys, you'll find the radio frequency I use as my home channels. :)
Sarcastro, would you mind picking me up on your way through? I'll be more than happy to toss in some gas money. If everythings a go, just send me a PM of the time you'd like me to be outside waiting. Also, if you need directions again, send me a PM.
room for 2 more eh.. isn't there just the 4 of us going?
Well I was keeping my hopes up that Krusty and Scatter would be able to make it.
BTW I bought a tiny cheap $ 10. Vivitar digital camera incase one of the missions is to get picks again. I haven't even had a chance to try it yet, so god knows if it even works or what the pic quality will be like, and it has no view screen (but I paid $10. WTF) so I'll bring my laptop as well to show proof of the "sneaky ****ing Russians"
It may save someone's high $ camera this way.
Looking forward to kicking ass and showing them how a proper team conducts itself boys.

Elements of 1RPC have been assigned to Team C: Romeo 1 (Recon), callsigns: Whisper_Kill, Sarcastro, Novakayne, Flyboy.
Situation: See http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=62301 and be familiarized.
Enemy Forces
1. Calm winds, 60% showers/tstorms, 83% humidity, 20 degree high (Bring wet weather gear) 2. Terrain is mixed vegetation, dense at times. Canopy greatly restricts light. Mosquitoes! 3. OPFOR is a mix of veteran and new players. Highly motivated. They may employ DPM or Flecktarn so BDU pattern recognition on enemy will be critical to avoid friendly kills. 4. Location: No current intel on enemy locations
Friendly Forces
1. My intent is to run as two, two man buddy teams working in tight coordination with one another. Hand signals and stealth will be our greatest allies. We should employ radios, but only to provide SITREPs to HQ or for emergency issues. We WILL be the hardest fighting unit, the smartest fighting unit and accrue the most kills on this OP. We WILL NOT offer any BS to the host or other players, we will work hard to mentor any new players, we will not rest or quit early until the game is complete. We WILL have one nice cold beer each at the end of the day provided by me!! : ) 2. Support units will be in the form of two sniper teams and an additional recon unit comprised of veteran players. 3. Taskings: See ASC game thread. 4. Coordinating Instructions:
- We will use a standard leap frog between the two buddy teams as our SOP movement. - Action at Halt (Short) - SOP (Get down, defense) - Routes, expect to take the most difficult, longest route available. No paths. Nothing easy. - Be aware, Rally Points will be set by a designated player, be aware. Pass on the signal to your buddy. - Action at Danger Areas - SOP - Actions on Enemy Contact - SOP - Re-org/Consolidation: if we get separated, hold tight at the re-spawn. Depending on the situation we may either extract ourselves to consolidate, ask you to wait a little bit until we can hook up or ask you to meet up at a specified location. We work as a team! All Day! - Fire control! Do not fire from great distances (+ 75 feet) unless asked for suppression fires. The goal for us as recon is to get as close as possible to ENSURE the hit. The fewer the shots to make the hit the better. Conserve AMMO. - Novakayne to set moving Rally Points.
Materials and Supplies
1. WATER! This will be a humid day and your body will have difficulty breathing. You will sweat a lot. Hydrate often and in small amounts. I'm not joking. 2. CADPAT BDU (+ boonie, + facepaint + good comfortable boots), be aware that fogging will be an issue... treat eye protection with anti-fog chemicals. Pre-load your mags to game specs. Pre-test your equipment. Pre-fit gear. When we drop at FTF, our unit wants to sit back, relax and watch all the other idiots who didn't prepare. BRING MOSQUITO REPELLANT. Bring some extra socks, clean tshirt and shorts, a small face towel and some baby-wipes (to remove face paint) 3. If you have a radio, bring it. If you have a cricket, bring it. 4. Travel as light as possible. Light load bearing equipment will help. If you have a small digi-camera, bring it. The more the better as we need to gather INTEL on the OPFOR. I plan on wearing a day pack for some food in the field, to carry my camera and my wet weather gear. 5. I will command our Recon group. Sarcastro will be my 2ic, Novakayne will be 3ic and Flyboy will be 4ic. 6. Challenges and Passwords: We will be using the SOP on this. Challenge/password will be "anaconda". This works as follows: challenger presents "alpha", challengee responds "november" - if challenger is comfortable with this level of challenge they accept and wave the person in... if you are not comfortable, take it to the next set of letters, challenger "alpha", challangee responds "charlie" and keep repeating until you are convinced. Do this as quietly as possible.
We will also use our crickets as recognition signals (one click to indicate friendly Romeo 1 player).
