below are 2 post I made on ASC, I wanted to show to those that I have been out to this field that boomer and I have been working to put up defensible structures through out the field. we are not done yet, we hope to have something that looks a little like harms way in the one corner. I would like to ask if anyone has green tarps they don't need, or camo netting, anything would be appreciated. see below for the 2 posts I mentioned: ===========================================================
ok, today I was out to the field to put up a couple of tarps, the larger fort is going to need at least another tarp, the two I used didn't quit go the whole way around, and I had wanted to have both our structures tarpped and camo netted by game day. I took a few pictures of the structure and will post them here, I had thought that boomer would have posted the pictures he took a couple of weeks ago. I have also drawn a crud map of the field, it's not pretty, but will serve to give an idea of the field, location of usable field structures are marked in red, this field started out as just 3 acers, now we have permission for 10 to 14 acers, and we are only using about 1/3rd of the field.
here are 1 or 2 of the fort:
and here are a couple of the "V" shaped screen, there will be a tarp on
this by game day:
in this picture, look down the short trail, I plan to put the first of a series of 1 man screens here:
in this picture is where we had our first makeshift fort, I plan to put another open end box fort here:
I also plan to get some camo netting depending on the cost of one, any thoughts and idea's are welcome, from everyone. here is a link to my photobucket with pictures from this field, get a better idea of what the field looks like. https://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b35/ranger_1/private%20game%20shots/
I was out to the field again today, trying to be ready for game day, I put up a complete structure shown below, here is a surround view:
I didn't have enough tarp to complete the V shap screen or the first one we started, but need only two more tarps to complete them. here is what the V screen looks like ate present:
I also have a partial one man screen up, temporary at best, but, we can work on it,:
this field is shaping up to be an awesome gaming field.

ok, went out to the field again, I have completed 5 structures on the field, I have pictures again, see below, but believe I have competed enough structures for this field and look forward to hosting our next game:
the first one is the first one you will see when entering the field:
the second one I forgot to take pictures, but, it looks like the V shaped structure, so, this picture can represent #2 & #4 :
#3 is a single man covering structure, look between the trees near the top, you will see it:
structure #5 which you are all familiar by now, I still need the smallest piece of tarp to cover the back of this structure:
and here is an up-dated rough map, look for the black and red marks, that is the location of the 5 structures.
