My call-sign is Whisper_Kill. I spent 4 years with the Ontario Regiment, at the time, an armoured corps. The ONTRs is a reserve unit. After completing my Basic training, I trained and became qualified as a gunner and a driver on the Cougar tank trainer (the 6-wheeled pre-cursor to the 8-wheeled LAV family of vehicles). I participated in MilCon for 2 years, a joint U.S./Canadian combat training exercise. I left with an honourable discharge at the rank of Corporal.
I started the Rangers (1RPC) in 2004 as a MilSim oriented team, the largest organized team in the Durham Region. 1RPC was a bit of a "fly by the seat of our pants" operation. However, over the years, we have become one of the more organized and "mature" teams in the Ontario airsoft community.
The Rangers are a unique group of individuals. With a wide range of skills and experience, the team is quite suitable for virtually any player at any stage during their development. We provide intense and informative training to help consolidate our team into a more effective fighting unit.
As a MilSim team, we continue to ensure our standards are met, our team fights as a TEAM and that we never lose sight that this is a game... and not real military. We always maintain a high level of respect for those soldiers who put their lives on the line every day. Our unit roleplays as u.s. Army Rangers very secretive and elite Regimental Reconnaissance Detachment teams.
Welcome to 1RPC.
Rangers Lead the Way. All the Way.

A new year is well underway, and the airsoft community is still very active. The last year for the rangers has seen many members schedules saturated with their real life. This year looks like a year of reinvention for the team, and hopefully some new faces. A trimmed down structure and no-nonsense approach will be part of the plan. What over the coming months for training days, and game coordination. -out
